Blog reflection

Blogging is something that I might do with my classroom. I actually like to blog. However, I feel overwhelmed with everything. I think that it would be a great classroom tool. Students and parents would benefit from it. Finding the time to blog is my problem. Another problem is that most of my students do not have regular access to the internet. I think that I enjoy reading everybody's blogs better than blogging myself.

Science Bingo

I am making Science Bingo cards for my classes. I am planning on laminating them when I get to school. They are harder to make than it looks. The cards will be filled with vocabulary words. I will draw the definitions. I hope they like it!!!

Parental Involvement Plan

I just finished my parental involvement plan. Well, I might do a little editing before I turn it in. Anyway, I am glad that I am done with that. I feel like there is not enough parental involvement at my school. I don't have any homeroom parents. Teachers put on the holiday parties and everything. This is very different from what I am used to. In Fayetteville, parents were very involved. I think that demographics have a lot to do with it. I don't think that parents are purposely absent from their child's education. I just think that they are busy working. It may also be the difference between a large school and a small school. IDK.

Sunday

I am doing my lesson plans today!!!! That means that I will not have to do them next weekend. I like being ahead. I usually feel like I am always running behind.

Thanksgiving!!!

Thanksgiving is around the corner. That's the good news. The bad news is that my students just bombed an Atoms test. I don't know how I am going to handle it, yet. I know we need to go back and review the material but now they will be gone for a whole week. I hope that they don't forget everything!!!

5th Grade Thanksgiving Musical

My students have a Thanksgiving Musical tomorrow. They barely fit on the stage. The music teacher is putting the musical on and I will be there to help. I hope they act better than they did today during rehearsal.

Three Weeks 'Til Thanksgiving Break!!!

This past month has been very hard!!! Grades, observations, and meetings have been getting me down. At least Pee Wee football is over. I love watching my son play, but I am tired of the practices and never having a free Saturday to do anything. I am ready for a break. Hopefully I can get caught up with everything.
